Activity: Presenting

Teaching Method:

Strategies/Goals:

In this introduction the instructor is providing visual inspiration to engage the students. The overall goal volition be the excite students about architecture and outset the thought proccess of what architecture means to them.

Activities:

  • Ask the students what they feel Architecture means to them.

Student Instructions

  • View video and take notes that take hold of your attention for a discussion later on the video.
  • Students volition participate in a course discussion that relates back to the video-what did they like about the video and what did they not like about the video.

  • Teacher sit-in on Bubble.u.s.
  • After students complete their own listen-map or spider web instructor volition create a group spider web or mind-map

Student Instructions

  • Using Bubble.u.s. app students will complete a web of ideas about shapes and what they could exist used for.
  • Students will so use a "Remember, Pair, Share" activity to hash out their findings.

  • Students will apply the design brief provided by the teacher to create a floor plan that meets the specifications gear up
